Education Bio – I love teaching what I consider to be some of the most important life-skills students can acquire.  I love being around young people and enjoy the small-school atmosphere.


Personal Bio – My family includes husband Norm and three sons-Jason, Courtney, and Derrick, along with their families.  I enjoy being with my family and friends.  My hobbies also include church activities, reading, and doing puzzles of all sorts.



Basic topics covered in 6th-8th grade math include:  calculating with whole numbers, decimals, and fractions; ratios, proportions, and percents; perimeter, area, and volume; probability; geometry, and algebra.


Algebra I--evaluating expressions, solving equations and inequalities, identifying and using functions, using matrices, properties of mathematics, calculating with real numbers, probability and odds, graphing linear equations and functions, exponential functions, quadratic equations and functions, polynomials and functions.
